Model for a pair of symmetric edge coupled stripline transmission lines. Width W defines the trace width for both striplines whose length is define by L. The coupled lines are seperated by a gap distance of S. This model requires a substrate to be defined in the Substrate Manager which can be found under Setting->Substrates.

Model for a length of open-circuited stripline transmission line with width W and length L. This model does not take into account the loss or capacitance at the open end of the line. This model requires a substrate to be defined in the Substrate Manager which can be found under Setting->Substrates.

Model for a length of short-circuited stripline transmission line with width W and length L. This model does not take into account the loss or inductance at the shorted end of the line. It is assumed that the line terminates into a perfect electrical conductor that is a ground reference. This model requires a substrate to be defined in the Substrate Manager which can be found under Setting->Substrates.

Model for an abrupt step in the width of a stripline transmission line. For best results, nodes 1 and 2 should be connected to stripline elements with the same widths defined by W1 and W2. SGAP - Gap in Stripline

Model for a series gap in a stripline transmission line. The width of the stripline is defined by W and is the same for both sides of the gap. The length of the gap is defined by S. For best results, both ends of the SGAP component should be connected to a stripline component whose width matches the defined width W. This model requires a substrate to be defined in the Substrate Manager which can be found under Setting->Substrates.
