S1P - 1 Port S-Parameter Block

S-parameters are imported into the project from a Touchstone format S-parameter file. Files can be imported by selecting File and then S-Param Data from the Action Bar menu.

Data Set - selects which imported S-parameter data set to use in the simulation.

Interp - The interpolation method to use for simulation frequencies between the frequency data listed in the S-parameter file. Currently, only linear interpolation is available.

Domain - Determines how the S-parameter data is interpolated. AUTO interpolates the data as it is found in the S-parameter file. Other choices are dB, polar, and rectangular. The S-parameter data will be converted to the selected format prior to interpolation.

Extrap - Determines how data is extrapolated for frequencies outside of the S-parameter file's data set. Option are Interp Method or Constant.

The interpolation method interpolates data from the last known data points (e.g., If Interp is set to linear interpolation, the slope between the first two data points in the S-parameter files will be used to calculate data points for frequencies lower than what is found in the S-parameter data set).

Constant extrapolation uses the data found at the lowest or highest frequency found in the S-parameter data set.
